The Color Picker 1.1

The first version of The Color Picker proved to be tremendously popular on the App Store, with a lot of people giving great reviews. This new version comes with a tweaked design, the ability to copy colors and 2 breakthrough features:

Zoom, Pan, Magnify - A lot of requests were for the ability to zoom into images in the image color picker - people were having trouble picking an exact pixel. So now, through a feat of programming, you can zoom, pan and magnify your images, with no extra buttons. The app just figures out which you’re trying to do.

Sync to mac - This puts the app into a whole new league. There’s a new button up top - a tick. When you tap it for the first time, you can connect to your Mac over wifi using The Color Picker Sync. From then on, when you tap the button it’ll send your color straight to your Mac, where you can choose to make it the primary color in Adobe™ Photoshop™. This really opens the app up to become an assistant to your creative work on your Mac.

Color Kick has proven to be popular on the app store, and all feedback from users so far has been of great use in deciding which direction to take the app. The 1.1 update brings a faster app, a new user interface and palette labels, along with Color Kick + which features a Hex Editor and Power Control.

For the first update, this is a nice, refreshing bunch of new features, with plenty more features in mind for future versions. Color Kick 1.1 and Color Kick + are now available on the iPhone App Store.

New UI - The user interface has been redesigned on both the Home Screen and Palette View. Also new are various animations throughout the app to smoothen the user experience, and changing gradient colors has been made more fluid.

Power Control - A powerful new tool allowing Color Kick + users to change the hue, saturation or brightness of every color in the palette at once.

HEX Editor - Color Kick + users can now also change the HEX code in the Color Picker to a specific color, simply by tapping on the HEX code currently there.

Color Picker - Really simple and powerful to use. Makes picking the right colors as easy as possible. Press done, and the color gets added to your palette.
